Warranty Info

We, at Lineage Watch Co. (hereinafter, “Lineage”), proudly stand behind our products and are happy to provide this limited two (2) year warranty (this “Warranty”) to our watch customers. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Warranty, Lineage guarantees each of its watches will be free from defects in materials and workmanship (each, a “Defect”) for two (2) years from the date of delivery of the watch to the customer (the “Warranty Period”). 

All Lineage watches are designed, engineered, hand-assembled, and tested in state-of-the-art American facilities, under the guidance of a Certified Master Watchmaker (CMW21) and skilled technicians. Our confidence in our manufacturing and assembly standards allows us to offer you this Warranty. 

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THIS WARRANTY IS CONDITIONED UPON YOU REGISTERING YOUR WATCH WITH OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT (click HERE to do so) USING THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN YOUR RECEIPT AND WARRANTY CERTIFICATE INCLUDED WITH YOUR WATCH AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. 

WARRANTY 

If, during the Warranty Period, your watch malfunctions during normal use or exhibits any Defect, Lineage will either, in our sole discretion and free of charge to you, repair the watch or replace it with a comparable watch (see Repair or Replacement below). This Warranty grants you specific legal rights; however, you may have additional rights depending on your state or province. 

FREE BATTERY REPLACEMENT. 

If you need a new battery for your Lineage watch, we at Lineage will replace it for you at no cost to you. Please contact us at customer@lineagewatchco.com on how to process your watch for a free battery replacement. We may need details from your Warranty Card accompanying your watch at the time of purchase, so please keep this on hand. 

EXCLUSIONS 

This Warranty does not cover and specifically excludes: 

  • normal wear and tear and aging
  • handling of the watch by non-authorized persons, such as warranty service by any party other than Lineage’s service department; 
  • any alterations, tampering with the seal, and/or opening the caseback, including without limitation, watch plating, and/or adding or removing parts, batteries, or accessories; 
  • water damage resulting from the watch being used over the indicated depth resistance or water infiltration resulting from the crown being opened while the watch is in water; 
  • damage to any part of the watch not constituting a Defect, whether accidental or intentional, including, without limitation, damage from improper use of the watch, lack of care, negligence, non-observance of use directions, acts of God and nature, scratches, cracks in crystal 

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT 

In our sole and absolute discretion, Lineage will, as necessary, perform one of the following within a reasonable time after such watch is submitted to Lineage: (a) regulate, adjust, and/or repair the necessary components constituting the Defect; or (b) replace the watch with a comparable watch.   

To return your watch for warranty service, please contact our Customer Service Department at customer@lineagewatchco.com to obtain our Warranty Service form which contains additional instructions on how to ship your watch. No submittals will be accepted without a Warranty Service form.  

Please insure the value of your watch when shipping it to Lineage and securely package your watch inside a box. This Warranty does not cover items lost or damaged in transit, so we recommend using a reputable, national carrier. THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE VOIDED IF YOUR WATCH IS NOT SHIPPED TO US SECURELY WITHIN A BOX.   

This Warranty does not cover any transportation costs (including, without limitation, carrier fees, insurance, postage, and packing materials) incurred in submitting your watch for Warranty Service, such costs of which are the sending party’s responsibility. In sending the watch, do not include any items (other than the watch) you want returned as such materials will be discarded upon receipt.  

WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS.   

This Warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, all of which are hereby expressly disclaimed by Lineage to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.  

Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties or the limitation as to how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusion and/or limitation may not apply to you. In the event your state does not allow certain warranties to be excluded or limited, those that legally may be excluded shall remain excluded and those that may not be excluded in their entirety, shall be limited to the shortest duration permitted under applicable law. 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.  

The remedies set forth in this Warranty are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this Warranty. Under no circumstances shall Lineage’s liability exceed the actual amount paid by you for the watch containing a Defect, nor shall Lineage be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or punitive damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of the watch, whether based in contract, tort, strict product liability, or any other theory, even if Lineage has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any limited remedy provided herein is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose.
